The Center for Great Expectations is a residential treatment program that welcomes homeless, pregnant adolescents, and homeless, pregnant and addicted adult women. Through programs and services provided to them, residents learn to break the cycle of bad choices, abuse and addiction. Through counselling, life's skills education, and educational programs, adolescents and adult women have the opportunity to change the direction of their lives. Following the birth of their babies they are welcome to return to the Center with their babies to continue in the program for up to a year.
There is a child development center on the premises and if the women have other children they can bring them to the Center to live with them and their baby, thereby increasing their chances for a successful outcome. There are two homes side by side. One for the adolescents and one for the adult women (each face different issues.)
